The ProjectGigamedia cable

Description:
Their primary area of expertise is the care and treatment of people while making sure their comfort, dignity and independence is maintained. 24-hour nursing care is available to all residents
to make sure their living environment is maintained to the highest quality. The area that was refurbished was largely left vacant for 15 years so this new state of the art data installation by Eamonn McGauran & Sons ensures that this building is future proofed with Cat6A CCA 10 gig speeds for new high bandwidth applications.

The project consisted of bespoke high-quality treatment rooms being installed for patients and medical professionals with the data installation providing high speed access to HSE networks.
This installation also provided high speed access to video conferencing, remote patient care plus aiding in the nursing stations located at each unit so that HSE networks can be easily and quickly
accessed.

With the building having 4 floors and 4 comms rooms, 492 points were installed with 20,000 metres of cable expertly and cleanly installed across the building. Gigamedia’s Irish manager in  Ireland, Dave Thomas works closely with his customers to make sure that products are specified correctly  for each project resulting in a satisfied end user.
