Higher Education in the modern world needs to have innovative ways to live & study – these aparto style accommodations provide such a space that is conducive to productivity, socialising and so much more that the modern student needs today!
The Client
Aparto is an Accommodation and Student Experience provider based in the UK, which was established in 2016. They currently have properties across the UK and Ireland, and an ambitious European expansion plan.
With developments like the Loom by aparto, at least these spaces can be comfortable, modern, and follow all correct guidelines to keep students safe before returning to campus. Their stylish and modern rooms and social spaces create the perfect home away from home.
The Loom features 166 modern en-suite rooms with a shared kitchen / living space, numerous rooftop terrace’s, modern gym, cinema room and lots of inspiring social spaces to enjoy, relax and socialise in.
The Project
In conjunction with their ongoing relationship with Walls construction, O’Neills Mechanical & Electrical were engaged to provide the electrical installation for this development. Our Sligo branch, through their long-standing relationship with O’Neills, duly obliged to supply high end quality & innovative lighting solutions throughout this aparto accommodation.
On the back of this, bespoke lighting supply partners were engaged to provide high-end lighting solutions that tied in well with the student environment throughout the building.
As can be seen from the images, a complete lighting solution was supplied by CT Electric Sligo and expertly installed by O’Neill Mechanical & Electrical. It is through this relationship that projects like this can result in a happy client being presented with a
complete electrical installation that will brilliantly benefit the end user, the student!
