The Project

CT Electric Sligo and GIGAMEDIA, in partnership with Eamonn McGauran & Son Ltd, sourced and delivered a future‑proof data solution for Nazareth House, transforming a 15‑year vacant area into modern treatment rooms and offices for HSE clinicians with a comprehensive data installation.

The network now provides high-speed access to HSE systems, supports video conferencing & remote patient care and aids nursing stations on each unit. Across four floors and four communications rooms, 492 points and 20,000 metres of cable were expertly installed, ensuring tidy routing and robust performance. The solution is built on Cat6A CCA for 10 gig speeds and OM4 Pre-T fibre to support emerging high-bandwidth applications.

Nazareth House offers long-term, respite, end-of-life/palliative, and convalescence care with 24-hour nursing, and this upgrade equips staff with the digital infrastructure needed to deliver efficient, connected care.
