Environment and Sustainability - Ecovadis Gold
It is the responsibility of all of us to act to protect our environment and actively pursue sustainability. At Gigamedia, we are implementing several initiatives in our production and distribution to reduce our environmental footprint and improve conditions for everyone in our value chain.
These initiatives and actions have enabled us to obtain the Ecovadis Gold label in 2023. EcoVadis combines an information system and a network of experts to assess 200 categories and 21 indicators (from “CO2 emissions” to “child labour”) in a simple, reliable and comparable way.
GIGAMEDIA chose to be assessed by Ecovadis in order to gain genuine recognition for its fledgling CSR approach from the world benchmark in CSR ratings. Ecovadis has more than 100,000 companies in over 200 business sectors and more than 175 countries on its list of achievements.
